Day2:Pyramids & Sightseeing in Cairo

The guests will have the delicious breakfast at the hotel to energize for a day full of excitement in their Holy Family Journey Tour in Egypt. The modern A/C vehicle would be waiting for our guests escorted by the most skilled and long experienced tour guides The first visit of the day would be to the Pyramids of Giza, the most popular monument in the whole world. Constructed more than 4000 years ago as the royal necropolis of the kings of Egypt, the pyramids of Giza are quite astonishing. Many scientists do not recognize for sure, until now, how these huge structures were built. The next visit of the day will be to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, that hosts the largest collection of Pharaonic exhibitions all over the world. This is where guests get to view a whole illustration of the ancient Egyptian history with the treasures of King Tut Ankh Amun, the collection of Akhenaten, and the Mummies Hall. We will be having lunch in one of the recommended restaurants in Cairo Our last visit of the day will be to Khan El Khalili. Established in the 15th century, it is the largest and most wonderful touristic market in the region. This is where guests would buy gifts and souvenirs reflecting their holiday in Egypt. Simply, there isn’t a single type of Egyptian goods that cannot be found in Khan El Khalili. At the end of the day, guests would be transferred to their hotel. Day3:Explore Tel Basta & Belbis

After the refreshing breakfast at the hotel, the guests would be ready for another day in their Holy Family Journey in Egypt Tour -We will be driving around 2 hours to the North Eastern direction from Cairo to reach Tell Basta, this is where the holy family spent some time during their holy journey in Egypt. Tel Basta was where the Christ gushed a water well. The guests would visit this sacred well and then explore Bubastis, an important center of civilization during ancient times. -Our next stop of the day will be to Belbis, where the holy family resided under a tree that was called the Virgin Mary Tree. Day4:Visit Sakha & Samanoud

After having the wonderful breakfast in our hotel in Cairo, we get ready for another exciting day in our Holy Family Journey in Egypt Tour. Today, we would be travelling for around 135 kilometers to the North of Cairo, Egyptian capital, to explore Sakha, where the holy family spent many days during their holy journey in Egypt. Sakha hosts one of the oldest churches in Egypt. Named the Church of the Virgin Mary, this church was established in the Middle Ages by the Christian community of the town at the time. The guests would also view the famous foot print of the Christ in Sakha. Our next stop of the day would be to the city of Samanoud. This is where the holy family were warmly welcomed by the inhabitants of the city and the Christs blessed them. The guests would visit the Church of Abanoub and explore the holy well of the city. We will be having lunch in one of the nicest retaurants in the Nile Delta. The guests at the end of this trip, would be transferred back to their hotel in Cairo. Day5:The Monasteries of Wadi Al Natrun

Tasty breakfast would be served in the hotel in Cairo. Today is one of the most interesting days in our Holy Family Journey in Egypt Tour. We would be travelling for a couple of hours by our modern AC vehicle towards Wadi Al Natrun, located to the North West of Cairo, the Egyptian capital. This was where the holy family resorted and hid for a period of time during their journey in Egypt. Afterwards, Egyptian Copts began escaping to the valley of Wadi Al Natrun to avoid the cruelty of the Roman Emperors. This is why many remarkable Christain monasteries are located in Wadi El Natrun today. We begin our visits by exploring the Monastery of El Baramus, founded in the 4th century AD, the monastery is one of the most ancient to be establishd in Egypt. With a huge foritifcation wall, the monastery has some quite amazing original sections. We move on with our trip to visit the Monastery of SaintPishoy, constructed in the 4th century AD, this is the largest and perhaps the most impressive monastery in Wadi El Natrun. Our next stop will be to the Syrians Monastery, the smallest in Wadi El Natrun. Mainly inhibited by Syriac monks, the monastery has some interesting details. Our last visit in Wadi El Natrun would be to the Saint Marcus Monastery. Constructed in the middle of the 4th century AD, the monastery is monastery is one of the most notable to explore in Wadi El Natrun. We will be having lunch in one of the most recommended restaurants in our way back to Cairo. The guests at the end of this trip, would be transferred back to their hotel in Cairo. Day6:Coptic Cairo

We begin our day with the wonderful breakfast at the hotel before we move on with our Holy Family Journey in Egypt Tour. Today, we will be exploring Coptic Cairo, home for many interesting historical churches and chapels. Our first visit would be to the Hanging Church in Cairo, constructed on the ruins of two towers of Babylon Fort, the hanging church is one of the most marvelous ancient churches of Cairo, famous for its wonderful decorations and icons. We go on with our visits to explore the Church of Saint George, with its imposing exterior and façade, the church was established as early as the 10th century and it contains several remarkable features The guests afterwards have lunch in one of the best local restaurants in Cairo. Afterwards, we move on with our trip to explore the Christian monuments in Cairo by exploring the Virgin Mary Church in Mostorod, the famous Virgin Mary Tree and well in Matariya. Day8:Minya – Dandara – Luxor

After the wonderful breakfast at the hotel in Al Minya, we check out the hotel to get ready for a day full of enjoyment exploring the rout of the Holy Family in Egypt. We travel towards Sohag, located 450 kilometers to the south of Cairo, the city hosts some quite notable Christian monuments. We begin our day by visiting the White Monastery, Constructed by (Schenute) the Archimandrite in 442 AD, the monastery got its name from the prominent white limestone. It is famous for its wonderful arts and paintings. We move on with our trip to explore the Monastery of the Holy Virgin at Al Qusiya. Constructed around the 6th or 7th century AD, the monastery is a marvelous example of Coptic architecture in Upper Egypt. We have lunch during the day in one of the finest restaurants. We continue our drive in our most comfortable vehicle towards Luxor, or ancient Thebes, where many Pharaonic treasures are located. On our way, we visit the marvelous ancient Temple of Dendara. Established as early as the 23rd century BC, this temple is dedicated to the Goddess Hathour. It is one of the best preserved temples of ancient Egypt. Day9:Nile Cruise Tour Luxor East Bank

Today, after breakfast, we would be beginning a whole new chapter of our trip to Egypt. We check out the hotel to embark a Nile Cruise ship that would sail from Luxor to Aswan in a marvelous trip that contains all the renowned famous highlights of Upper Egypt, has a wonderful entertainment program, and gives the tourists the chance to enjoy sailing down the Nile the same as ancient Egyptians. We check in the Nile Cruise ship. Today we would be exploring the West Bank of Luxor, or the city of the dead as ancient Egyptians named it. This is where many mortuary temples and ancient burials sites are located. your first visit of the day will be the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial site of ancient Egypt. The tombs of the valley have the most wonderful colors and ornaments. The most famous among them is the Tomb of King Tut Ankh Amun which was discovered in 1922 by . Your next visit of the day will be at the Colossi of Memnon. The two huge statues are the only remaining sections of the temple of Amenhotep III and today became a famous landmark of Luxor. The next visit will be to the charming Temple of Hatshepsut. Consturcted in the 15th century BC, this temple is truly one of the most wonderful of ancient Egypt. Featured with rising terraces, the statues of Queen Hateshepsut, and the chaples of Anubis and Hathour, the temple was once used also as a Christian monastery. Day10:Nile Cruise Tour Luxor West Bank

Today we will explore the wonders of the East Bank of Luxor The most wonderful breakfast would be served in the Nile Cruise ship to get ready for the amazing day exploring the wonders of the East Bank of Luxor. Our first visit of the day would be to the Karnak Temple, the largest and most impressive ancient Egyptian temple. Almost all Pharoahs that ruled over Egypt, beginning of the 20th century BC, had their contributions to the Karnak. The results were quite breathtaking especially the hypostyle hall of Ramses II, the sacred lake, the obelisks of Hateshepsut, and several other sections. The second visit we have today would be to the Luxor Temple, the smaller sister of Karnak which was both connect via the avenue of sphinxes. Day12:Aswan Nile Cruise Tour Visits

We reach the charming city of Aswan in the morning. Sunny and warm all year long, Aswan was nicknamed as the city of the sun and gold during ancient times. After breakfast, we begin our tour in Aswan by visiting the High Dam, constructed during the ruling period of former Egyptian president, Abdel Nasser, this huge dam generates large quantities of the electricity of Egypt. It is also among the most fascinating examples of contemporary architecture. Now, its time to explore the Temple of Philae. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, the temple was relocated to its current place after the construction of the High Dam. Featured with its wonderful huge columns, stone curved pylons, and magnificent decorations, the temple is a must-see for any tourists who travel to Egypt. We end our visits for the day by exploring the Unfinished Obelisk. Considered to be the largest piece of metal humans ever dealt with, it weighs over 1000 tons. This is where tourists would get a wonderful explanation and illustrations of how and why ancient Egyptians built these huge impressive structures.
