Nile Felucca Program
06 Days — 05 Nights (Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu - Esna)
Day 1: Felucca on the Nile
Sailing down the Nile is a magic experience where you can feel the chilling out atmosphere and good chance for swimming on the Nile River. Our felucca crew provides simple and healthy meals (Lunch – Dinner). In the evening have your dinner on board and enjoy the Nubian Party with our crew. Sleeping on board near to one of the islands, spread on the Nile bank. Overnight “Al Ballouly Village” close to Daraw.
Day 2: Felucca on the Nile
Start sailing directly to Daraw Village to visit Al souk “Camels Souk every Sunday” or visit karatenat Souk opens every day. Then continue our sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the classic Greco-Roman Temple of Sobek and stop at Faris Village passing by Abu shihab Island.
Day 3: Felucca on the Nile
In the morning startwalking to the temple of Gebel el Silsila, another of our less frequented destinations. You will be amazed as we tie up alongside the Speos of Hormheb, visit Nag’ Al-Hammam and enjoy sleeping on board.
Day 4: Felucca
Start sailing to our next spot for the sandy island (El Fouza) where you can swimming and play soccer with locals. Then visit the Horus Temple in Edfuand will be going to Al Qusy Mountain.
Day 5: Felucca on the Nile
Whilst sleeping, we gently sail en-route to Esna; Sailing will be continued till we arrive to Al-Hegz village. Enjoy sleeping on board for the Last night on Rageh village crossing by El Sharawna village.
Day 6: Felucca / Esna
Sail to Esna then disembarkation from your felucca boat after breakfast, we bid farewell to the crew and will be ready for you to travel to your next destination.
More information:
1- There is no toilet facilities on board. You can use the toilets provided at the sites you visit during the day, or there are a portable toilets will be arranged.
2- Felucca sailing depends on the wind and currant so no exactly timing or schedule and this is best way to chill out and enjoy the sailing and free yourself from all the pressures (you will arrive when wind assists the felucca to reach the next destination)
