Oriental tours is taking part in supporting people and environment, we have some efforts and co-operation with nongovernmental charity houses such as the projects caring for abandoned children. In a country where the family is so important, unwanted children carry a great stigma that can affect them for the rest of their lives. State resources are stretched so we try to help and give these children a decent start in life by providing a caring home and schooling. We are co-operating with a small but very dedicated organization currently which is caring for over 80 children aged from birth to 16 years. Most of the children come as babies, commonly wrapped in pieces of rag and in desperate need of love and care. More and more of you return from your holidays and want to give back to the country you have been to. This is a great way of being able to ensure funds go directly to the communities you have visited. Many of our customers want to give something even a flower showing love to the country , we enable you to put something back into the places you visit - contributing to making better places for people to live in and visit. in partnership with the travel industry, identifies, defines and screens a wide range of social and environmental projects .
We try as much as we can to make better Egypt by teaching People how to keep the Nile Clean, due to lack of education of the villagers living along the Nile Valley they are not very much care about the Nile. During Summer we are holding meetings to teach people how important the River Nile for all Egyptians
Yearly we arrange a cleanup program for the white desert during Month of May, it’s a kind of incentive program combined to Cairo and White desert accommodation , we have guest from whole over the world taking part in such program . we arrange this project with our partner from Farafra Oasis , A wlad Saad or Saad Bothers , they have hotels in the Oasis as well as camp in the White desert … we used to arrange such environmental Friends project with them
Clean Up Trip
The Program
29.04. Pick up at 08:00 hrs at the British Council, drive to Farafra Oasis (560 km) by minibus. Visit at the Black Desert and Crystal Mountain. Meet the jeeps at Bir Regwa. Drive to the White Desert, lunch, dinner and overnight at the camp.
30.04 After breakfast we get divided into groups. We start cleaning up at the Old White Desert, Santa and the White House area. Lunch. Drive back to the camp for dinner, overnight at the camp.
01.05 After breakfast the groups go to the New White Desert, El Tabali, Ain El Wadi and Wadi Hennis for some more cleaning. Lunch. Drive back to the camp for dinner, overnight at the camp.
02.05 After breakfast the groups go to El Akabat El Barrani, El Wadi El Sharqui, Ain Serru, Ain Hawash and El Akabat El Guani. Lunch.Drive back to the camp for dinner, overnight at the camp.
03.05 After breakfast the groupsdrive to Farafra cleaning the area of Qasr El Farafra, Ain El Balad, the old town of Farafra, Bir Mayuf and Bir Setta. Lunch. Drive back to the camp for dinner, overnight at the camp.
04.05 After breakfast we drive back to Cairo with lunch box and arrival at the British Council around sunset.
